The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the detailed recruitment notification for the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) Examination, 2026 (Advt No. E/37/2026-C-2 SECTION).Online applications are invited for 1,871 vacancies across Delhi Police (Executive), BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB (GD), and CISF (Fire).

Eligible candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree can submit their application form on the official SSC portal (ssc.gov.in) between 10 September 2026 and 30 September 2026.

Age Limit (As on 01/08/2026)

  • General SI Posts:20 to 25 Years (Born between 02/08/2001 and 01/08/2006)
  • SI (Fire) in CISF:18 to 30 Years (Born between 02/08/1996 and 01/08/2008)
  • Age relaxation applies for SC/ST (5 Years), OBC (3 Years), and ESM as per government rules.

  • Total: 100 Questions | 100 Marks | 60 Minutes
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer.

NCC Bonus Marks

Bonus marks are added to the normalized score of Paper-I & Paper-II:

  • NCC ‘C’ Certificate:5% of maximum marks
  • NCC ‘B’ Certificate:3% of maximum marks
  • NCC ‘A’ Certificate:2% of maximum marks

Physical Endurance Test (PET)

  • Male Candidates:
    • 100m Race in 16 seconds
    • 1.6 Km Race in 6.5 minutes
    • Long Jump: 3.65 meters (3 chances)
    • High Jump: 1.2 meters (3 chances)
    • Shot Put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters (3 chances)
  • Female Candidates:
    • 100m Race in 18 seconds
    • 800m Race in 4 minutes
    • Long Jump: 2.7 meters (3 chances)
    • High Jump: 0.9 meters (3 chances)

How to Apply Online

1.One-Time Registration (OTR):

Visit the official website ssc.gov.in or open the ‘mySSC’ app. Complete your OTR using a valid email ID and mobile number.

2.Access Candidate Dashboard:

Log in with your OTR credentials, navigate to the Latest Notifications tab, and locate Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs Examination, 2026. Click Apply.

3.Fill Exam Preferences & Details:

Select three preferred exam centers, set your post preferences, and specify NCC certificate details if applicable.

4.Capture Live Photo & Upload Signature:

Capture a live real-time photograph using a clear background, proper lighting, and no accessories (caps/glasses). Upload your scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB).

5.Pay Application Fee & Submit:

Pay the ₹100 fee online if applicable. Review all details, submit the form, and download the printout of the confirmation page for record.
