Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (as on closing date)

• Tradesman Mate, Fireman, MTS & JOA:18 to 25 Years
• Material Assistant:18 to 27 Years
• Age relaxations apply as per Central Government rules: SC/ST by 5 years, OBC by 3 years, and PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per applicable norms.

2. Educational & Technical Qualifications

• Tradesman Mate / Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized Board or equivalent.
• Fireman:Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized Board + must meet physical endurance and measurement standards.
• Junior Office Assistant (JOA):12th Pass (Intermediate) or equivalent from a recognized Board with a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English OR 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
• Material Assistant: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University OR Diploma in Material Management / Engineering from a recognized Institution.

Selection Process

1. Stage 1: Physical Endurance & Skill Test (Qualifying Nature)
   • Tradesman Mate: 1.5 km run and carrying a weight of 50 kg for 200 meters.
   • Fireman: Physical measurements (Height: min 165 cm, Chest: 81.5–85 cm), 1.6 km run, carrying a person/weight of 63.5 kg over 183 meters, vertical rope climbing, and broad ditch jump.
   • Junior Office Assistant (JOA): Typing test on computer.
2. Stage 2: Written Examination (Objective MCQ)
   • General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 marks)
   • Numeric Aptitude (25 marks)
   • General English (25 marks)
   • General Awareness (50 marks)
   • Duration: 2 Hours (Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer).
3. Stage 3: Document Verification & Medical Examination.
