No. 14/2026) for the Teacher Recruitment Examination 4.0 (TRE 4.0).This mega recruitment drive aims to fill 32,388 vacancies for Primary Teachers (Classes 1–5), Middle School Teachers (Classes 6–8), Secondary Teachers (Classes 9–10), and Higher Secondary Teachers (Classes 11–12) across government schools in Bihar.
The online application window will open on 21 September 2026 and eligible candidates can submit their forms until 21 October 2026 through the official BPSC portal.

Selection Process
The selection process is based entirely on a written merit examination with no interview stage:
Written Examination (Objective MCQ):
Part I: Language (Qualifying nature – English & Hindi/Urdu/Bengali).
Part II: General Studies (Elementary Maths, Reasoning, General Awareness, Science, Social Science, Geography, National Movement).
Part III: Subject-specific discipline syllabus (for Classes 6–8, 9–10, and 11–12).
Document Verification (DV): Verification of academic, category, and TET/STET certificates.
Merit List & School Allotment: Final appointment based on written test scores and district/cadre choices.
