Positions include Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Primary Teachers (PRT), along with Computer Instructors, Sports Coaches, Special Educators, and Vocational Instructors. School-wise application deadlines and interview dates range across early to mid-September 2026.

2. Educational & Professional Qualifications
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT):
Two-year Integrated Post Graduate [Link] Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject OR Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the relevant subject.
B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English media.
Note: B.Ed is not mandatory for PGT (Computer Science) and PGT (Biotechnology).
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT):
Four-year Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects.
B.Ed or equivalent from a recognized University.
Qualified Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Paper-II) conducted by CBSE.
Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Primary Teacher (PRT):
Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / JBT) OR 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Qualified Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Paper-I) conducted by CBSE.
Competence to teach through Hindi and English media.
Computer Instructor / Vocational Staff / Coaches:
B.E. / B.Tech (CS/IT), BCA, MCA, [Link] (CS) or Graduate with PGDCA / DOEACC ‘A’ Level for Computer Instructors.
Respective degree/diploma or national-level certification for Sports Coaches, Yoga Instructors, and Arts/Crafts teachers.

Selection Process
Online Profile Submission:Candidate creates a central profile on the KVS Samvida Sathi Portal and selects up to 3 school preferences.
School Scrutiny:Individual school administration reviews profiles and marks the status as “Qualified for Interview”.
Interview Schedule Auto-Sync:Interview dates appear directly on the candidate’s dashboard.
Walk-in Interview & Document Verification: Candidates attend the interview at the respective KV campus carrying original credentials and bio-data.
Panel Preparation:Final merit panels are displayed on individual school websites, and candidates are called as and when contractual vacancies arise.
Go to the official Samvida Sathi platform at samvida-sathi.kvs.gov.in.
Click on New Registration and sign up using your full name, mobile number, email ID, and date of birth.
Log in with your registered mobile number and password.
Fill in basic personal details, address, PAN, and Aadhaar numbers.
Select your target State, School, Designation, and Subject under the School Preferences tab (up to 3 preferences allowed).
Enter academic qualifications (10th, 12th, Graduation, Post Graduation) and professional credentials (B.Ed, D.El.Ed, CTET).
Upload scanned copies of your passport photo, identity proof, and relevant experience documents.
Preview and submit the profile to generate your Unique Submission Code.
Monitor your application dashboard for review status (“Qualified for Interview”) and reporting dates.
Report to the designated Kendriya Vidyalaya campus on the interview day with the printed application form, original certificates, and one self-attested photocopy set.
