Post-Wise Eligibility Criteria (as on 25 September 2026)
1. Counselor
- Age Limit:21 to 50 Years
- Essential Qualification:Graduate/Postgraduate in Psychology OR Post Graduate in Child Development OR Graduate/Postgraduate with a Diploma in Guidance and Counseling (minimum 50% aggregate marks).
- Desirable:Minimum 1 year of experience in student counseling in residential schools, knowledge of placement bureaus, and RCI registration.
2. PEM/PTI-cum-Matron (Female)
- Age Limit:21 to 50 Years
- Essential Qualification:Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed – 4-year degree) OR 3-year Graduation + 1-year B.P.Ed Diploma OR B.Sc in Physical Education, Health Education & Sports + 1-year B.P.Ed Diploma.
- Desirable:Experience in a boarding/residential school as Warden/Matron, State/National-level sports participation, or NCC ‘C’ certificate.
3. Band Master
- Age Limit:18 to 50 Years
- Essential Qualification:Potential Band Master / Band Major / Drum Major Course from the AEC Training Centre & College, Pachmarhi, or equivalent Naval / Air Force band courses.
4. Lab Assistant (Chemistry)
- Age Limit:18 to 50 Years
- Essential Qualification:Intermediate Science (10+2 / 12th with Science/Chemistry) or equivalent from a recognized board/institution.
5. Ward Boys
- Age Limit:18 to 50 Years
- Essential Qualification:Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized Board.
- Desirable:Proficiency in spoken English and sports, basic computer operations, and First Aid knowledge.
Selection Process
The selection procedure at Sainik School Nagrota consists of:
